Whiskey and Cognac lengthened with soda, citrus oil, bitters, and a trace of absinthe.
Taste: lemon oil · rye spice · anise lift

Aromatic bitters
2 dashes
2ml
Absinthe

1ml
Soda water
60ml
How to make it
Stir everything except the soda with cold ice until chilled.
Strain into a chilled highball and add the soda slowly.
Give one gentle lift with a spoon, then express a lemon twist over the top.
