Ingredients
Whiskey, mint, and restrained sugar served cold over a soft bed of crushed ice.

Simple syrup

Fresh mint

How to make it
Press the mint very gently with the syrup in an old-fashioned glass to release its aroma without shredding it.
Add the whiskey and crushed ice, then swizzle until the glass turns cold.
Top with fresh crushed ice and a compact mint bouquet.
